A customer just enrolled in your program, your plan, or bought something from you. Fantastic! There’s just one problem…their handwriting on the form is indecipherable – it’s chicken scratch. Two people have independently tried to read it and agreed on what it says, but according to the USPS, it’s undeliverable. What to do? MetaSource has the solution.

MetaSource uses a suite of best practices to produce the most accurate information possible. For critical fields such as Street Address, we employ blind key verification where a second operator rekeys the field blind to what the first operator keyed. This reduces handwriting-interpretation errors that having a single person key it twice would produce. Despite this, we find that 10% to 15% of street addresses are undeliverable the minute they are added to our clients’ databases.

Advanced Address Repair

MetaSource cost effectively identifies these records and electronically pulls them before sending them to your database. We take them out of the production cycle and give them to MetaSource analysts who use web-based tools to find, interpret, and repair addresses still undeliverable after blind key verification. Typically, we are able to repair about 90% of the undeliverable records.

For one client, 1.6 million addresses were repaired in one year, producing $40,000,000 of incremental annual revenue and saving $1,000,000 in call center costs because customers were now getting their rewards.
