Wes Knowles Joins MetaSource as VP of Enterprise Content Solutions

MetaSource

Salt Lake City, Utah – MetaSource, the leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), workflow automation and compliance solutions, today announces that Wes Knowles has joined the company as VP of Enterprise Content Solutions.

In his new role, Wes will work to grow the ECM software business, including sales through the enterprise content management (ECM) and OpenText software reseller channel.

ECM Channel Experience

Wes Knowles co-founded Document Conversion Associates (DCA) in 1994, one of MetaSource’s oldest and largest ECM resellers. Under his stewardship, DCA became an experienced reseller of ApplicationXtender document management software and a Diamond Kofax reseller.

As a result, Knowles is intimately familiar with the challenges and opportunities faced by resellers that sell and integrate ECM technology and provide business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions, including document scanning services. Wes will work with MetaSource ECM channel partners to create programs, offer MetaSource BPO services and to identify other ways to stimulate revenue growth.

According to Knowles, “What impressed me with MetaSource is what we have to offer today. It’s my/our job to help our resellers understand the full MetaSource suite of ECM software solutions, which includes both cloud and on-premise document capture and document management, as well as BPO services that generate recurring revenues across a wide range of applications and industries.”

Looking Forward

“We’re excited to have Wes Knowles now working directly as part of our team after being a successful reseller of ApplicationXtender for the last 25 years,” said MetaSource CEO, Adam Östhed. “We believe that Wes will deliver continued revenue growth for both our channel partners and for MetaSource and look forward to what he and his team will achieve with our new partnership with OpenText.”

“I’m looking forward to being directly part of the MetaSource team after working with them for so many years,” said Knowles. “My objective is to work with our resellers to generate new lines of revenue. With the purchase of ECD by OpenText, a whole host of opportunities has opened for all of us. As a trusted advisor to our resellers, we will continue to vet out products that have value for our channel and the market, and to provide value-added distribution as we’ve done for EMC for so many years.”
