History
MetaSource was founded in 2007 through the merger of two successful BPO and document management companies, Mackin Imaging Systems and Data Services Direct.
Mackin Imaging Systems was founded in 1994 by Ed Mackin, Sr. to provide a full line of document automation products and services. From its inception, Mackin Imaging Systems grew to be one of the largest resellers of document management software in the U.S. In addition, Mackin Imaging Systems offered a full service document conversion service bureau, equipped with some of the most sophisticated and productive scanning and index automation systems available.
Data Services Direct (DSD) was a privately-held business founded in 1992 by Orie Santillo, who currently serves as a member of the MetaSource board of directors. Led by current MetaSource CEO, Adam Osthed, DSD's significant expertise in data capture and data management was partnered with a passion about customer service and open communication. Use of leading technology and best practices pushed DSD to the forefront of the data capture industry.
