MetaSource Acquires Document Capture Expert Dataimage

Dataimage Brings Expertise in Advanced Document Capture and Business Process Management to the MetaSource Team

Salt Lake City, UT – MetaSource, the leading provider of business process management (BPM), workflow automation and compliance solutions, today announces the acquisition of Salt Lake City-based Dataimage. This acquisition adds depth to MetaSource's business process automation (BPA) offering with Dataimage's advanced document capture expertise and status as a Kofax Platinum Partner. Dataimage also extends MetaSource's business process outsourcing (BPO) services with its document scanning service bureau operation.

Business Process Automation (BPA) Expertise

Founded in 1981, Dataimage is recognized as an industry-leading provider of intelligent document and data capture, and enterprise content management (ECM) solutions. Dataimage serves clients throughout the United States and Canada, with special expertise serving the State and Local Government, Retail and Higher Education markets.

Because of its depth of experience with advanced document capture software solutions, Dataimage is one of the few resellers in the world designated as a Platinum Partner by Kofax because of its experience with Kofax Capture, Total Agility (KTA), Transformation Modules (KTM), Insight, and Kapow. As a result of this larger footprint, Dataimage clients will have more BPO and document scanning depth, along with stronger workflow automation and document management offerings with OpenText ApplicationXtender (AX). Dataimage retail clients will also have the option of using MetaSource contact center services.
